> In Brazil, thermoplastics resins producer Braskem, said to be the third largest petrochemical company in the Americas, has completed the transfer of 60% of Ipiranga Quimica, the petrochemical assets of refining and chemical group Ipiranga. The other 40% of Ipirange Quimica were transfered to oil producer as a result of an investment agreement between Braskem and Petrobras signed in November 2007.
