Eagle Pacific becomes PW Eagle .(Brief Article)

EUGENE, ORE. -- Six months after acquiring Pacific Western Extruded Plastics Co., Eagle Pacific Industries Inc. has adopted a new name: PW Eagle Inc. The change is scheduled to be approved at the April 27 annual meeting in Minneapolis, Eagle Pacific's former headquarters. The new name is just a combination of the two companies' former names and will demonstrate their integration.
No other changes are anticipated, said William Spell, Eagle's chief executive officer. Eagle Pacific shocked the industry in July when it announced the $80 million deal to buy Eugene-based PW Pipe, forming the West Coast's largest PVC pipe extruder.
