101.5 million in 2002. Domestic shipments will account for 36.1 million desktops in 2003, up from 34.8 million last year. In the market for notebook computers, IDC projects worldwide 2003 shipments of 35.4 million units compared with last year's 30.8 million. Domestic shipments will be about 12.9 million in 2003, vs. 11 million last year.
