Alliance providing monitoring system Bolton, Ontario-based injection press maker Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. and Matrikon Inc. have teamed up to introduce a factory-monitoring and scheduling system designed for injection molding. SmartLink is based on industrial automation software from Matrikon, a producer of plant software and a major system integrator based in Edmondton, Alberta.
Matrikon was named one of the 50 largest process automation suppliers in North America by Control magazine. The plant-monitoring system uses Matrikon's MxNet and MxPTACi as the Web-based interface for process monitoring and production scheduling.
