Graham Partners continues to expand in plastic building products with the purchase of certain assets from Dixie-Pacific Manufacturing Co. Inc.

Graham's HB&G Building Products Inc. unit paid an undisclosed amount for Dixie-Pacific's fiberglass-reinforced plastic columns business and assets in Gadsden, Ala.

Graham will lease plant space at the site where Dixie-Pacific also makes synthetic posts, rails and other products not included in the deal, Graham principal Josh Wilson said by telephone from his firm's headquarters in Philadelphia.

The acquisition dovetails with Graham's HB&G subsidiary, which Graham claims is the largest maker of synthetic columns in North America. It follows closely on last year's...
