Jumping rope is great fun and great exercise, too. It will build up your legs, shoulders, arms, and heart. Do you need a lot of equipment? No, all you need is a rope and a grin to jump right in. Try these jump rope games for a whirling good time. Rock the Cradle: A great warm-up for the other jump rope games.
Hold the rope as pictured and rock it back and forth. Jump over it as it passes beneath you. Challenge Meter: Not too tough, but it's only a warm-up. Wind the Clock: Spin the rope over your head and hop it each time it gets to your feet. Count out loud as you hop. When you get to twelve, make a quarter turn and keep going.
