A powder metallurgy steel that is said to match the tensile strength, elongation, and impact strength of wrought low-carbon bar and plate was reported in a paper presented at the MPIF/APMI [PM.sup.2]TEC conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 13 to 17.
