Tailored nano-sized particles can reportedly be made from any metal alloy or crystalline material in a sparkerosion technology acquired by Cyterra Corp., Waltham, Mass. The company recently opened a nanophase materials development laboratory and has acquired two important patents, based on an innovative spark-erosion process.
