Low-temperature surface engineering treatments that dramatically improve the wear resistance of metal parts have been developed by Quality Heat Technologies, Australia. Designated Qab, the treatments are applied by equipment that combines patented technologies in fluidized bed reactor design and proprietary low-temperature diffusion chemistry.
