An aluminum casting technology that is said to provide excellent dimensional accuracy, zero draft, thin wall sections, and consistent quality is available from Taylor-Pohlman Inc., Orchard Park, N.Y. Called the V-Process, the technology reportedly enables a very smooth surface finish and easy revisions to patterns, making it ideal for prototypes.
