NASA awards work on Space Station and Earth networks. (Aerospace).

Three recent NASA contracts for work on the International Space Station and for Earth-based telecommunications and operations are valued at more than $1 billion. By far the biggest is a $936 million award to The Boeing Company, with smaller awards received by Lockheed Martin and ManTech Systems Engineering Corporation.
Boeing's award will extend its Space Station integration and operations work through December 2003. This represents a modification to Boeing's eight-year prime contract covering construction, integration and operations of the International Space Station by Boeing Information, Space and Defense Systems.
