A reconstruction of what is believed to be the largest dinosaur ever to walk the earth is a highlight of Giants of the Mesozoic, an exhibition that opened in August at Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Atlanta. Fossil bones of Argentinosaurus, a 91 metric ton (100 ton), 38 m (126 ft) long herbivore, were found by a rancher in Argentina in 1988.

Originally believed to be petrified wood, the fossilized remains turned out to be a new species of Titanosaur, characterized by four, 2.7 m (9 ft) legs, a long neck, and a tiny head, much like that of its well-known cousin, Brontosaurus. ...
