A low-temperature powder metal deposition technique capable of producing fully dense, adherent coatings of a variety of metals on standard metal surfaces and ceramic substrates without costly surface preparation has reportedly been developed by Inovati, Santa Barbara, Calif. In addition, braze powders can be sprayed onto parts to be joined.
