This year the International Metallographic Society convention is returning to a summer event in QUEBEC CITY, as part of Microscopy and Microanalysis 2002. IMS will have presentations as a part of the overall technical program, as well as two short courses and a symposium. IMS will host the Len Samuels' Symposium on Metallographic Specimen Preparation on Sunday, 4 August (see list of speakers and topics in the show preview in this issue of Advanced Materials & Processes).
