Heat-sensitive polymers that change colors at various temperatures are under development at the University of Rhode sland, Kingston. So far, chemists Dr. Brett Lucht and Dr. Bill Euler and chemical engineer Dr. Otto Gregory have produced a polymer that changes from red to yellow at 82[degrees]C (180[degrees]F).
