A software package for fatigue and fracture-related analysis has reportedly been developed by Boeing Aircraft Co., Seattle, Wash. Called LifeWorks, it contains modules for analysis of crack initiation, crack growth, spectrum processing, and stress, as well as a robust plotting package. A database of materials properties is also available.
