A novel binder made of water and agar for injection molding ceramics has been developed by Honeywell, Morristown, N.J. Water rather than conventional alcohol or carbonates in the binder system is said to eliminate the need for binder absorbents, and results in the emission of harmless moisture in the drying phase.
