A new category of high-performance thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) in which high-temperature performance is combined with melt processibility and chemical resistance, has been introduced by Multibase, a Dow Corning Company in France. Called TPSiV, the materials are thermoplastic silicone vulcanizates.
