A new agar-based metal injection molding compound (MIM) from RTP Co., Wino na, Minn., was chosen by Remington Arms Co. Inc. to make the hozel componcnt for go lf club manufacturer Ping Inc., Phoenix, Ariz. Called PowderFlo, the MIM compounds offer a potential 40% reduction in manufacturing steps.
