ASM Ottawa Chapter hosts Student Poster Night.(ASM News)

The ASM Ottawa Valley Chapter hosted a Student Poster Night during its February meeting at Carleton University. The competition was open to high school, university undergraduate and graduate students. Each poster was required to cover the understanding or application of metals or engineered materials and their research, design, reliable manufacture, use, or economic and social benefits.
A winner was selected from each category and an overall winner was selected from all participants. ASM memberships were offered to all participants. Eleven students from Carleton University and one student from Colonel By High School participated in the competition. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED]
