A laminated material consisting of carbon fiber/ thermoset sheets "salted" with boron nitride powder has reportedly been developed for carrying away heat by XC Associates Inc., Stephentown, N.Y., with some funding from the U.S. Missile Defense Agency. The company has patented equipment that makes the sheets and then laminates two or more sheets together.
