A program to assist the replacement of industrial solvents with safer and more environmentally friendly solvents has been developed by Technical Database Services Inc., New York, N.Y. Called Program for Assisting Replacement of Industrial Solvents II (PARISH), the goal of the program is to assist engineers with identification of new solvents that can function as well as conventional solvents, but with higher degrees of environmental safety.
