Edward J. Dulis, FASM, 83, Upper St. Clair, Pa., died April 4, 2003. A life member and past ASM trustee, he began his career at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and the Naval Air Experimental Station, U.S. Steel Fundamental and Applied Research Laboratories. During 41 years with Crucible Materials Research Division, he served on the Board of Directors and retired as president of research.

Dulis authored over 60 publications on various aspects of metallurgy and held over 20 patents. Robert A. Schmucker, Jr., 84, Amherst, N.H., died Jan. 3, 2003. A life member, he worked for the Crucible ...
