An imaging system developed by Clemex Technologies, Montreal, Quebec, has reportediy been applied by Ledco Ltd., Kitchener, Ontario, to measure the depth at which a weld penetrates the parent material. The system includes a stereomicroscope and an imaging system comprised of a high-powered PC, Clemex Vision Lite imaging software, and a high-resolution digital camera.
