Albuquerque "Materials Camp" for teachers a success.(ASM News)

The ASM Materials Education Foundation, whose mission is "to excite young people worldwide in materials careers," held its first Materials Camp for high school teachers in Albuquerque, N.M., June 8-13. Twenty-seven teachers (25 from high school and two from middle school) attended the weeklong camp, which provided hands-on laboratory experience to encourage high school teachers of science, math and technology to bring more materials and basic engineering activities to their classrooms.
