Advances in powder metallurgy; efficient low-alloy steels for high performance structural applications.(Conference Report)
Advanced Materials & Processes, December, 2003 by Engstrom, ulf
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the performance levels possible with Astaloy CrL, a Cr-Mo prealloyed material (1.5Cr, 0.2Mo). Astaloy CrL was processed via different compaction techniques (high-velocity, warm, and cold compaction), conventional and high-temperature sintering, and secondary heat treatment (vacuum carburization, quenching, and tempering).
