A new thermal spray coatings standard, "Specification for the Application of Thermal Spray Coatings (Metallizing) of Aluminum, Zinc, and their Alloys and Composites for the Corrosion Protection of Steel," has been issued by the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), the American Welding Society, and NACE International.
