Positrons measure effects of cold expansion on alloys.(Testing/Analysis)

A project to determine whether positrons can reliably and accurately measure the effectiveness of cold expansion techniques in metal alloys for aerospace applications has been successfully completed by Positron Systems, Boise, Idaho. The project was commissioned by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics to evaluate Positron's Photon Induced Positron Annihilation (PIPA) technology.
