John W. Pridgeon, FASM, an ASM past president and treasurer and recipient of the 2002 ASM Medal for the Advancement of Research, died on March 17. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] Pridgeon was a consultant for Allvac and other companies after his retirement as senior vice president of Allvac in August 2001.
