President-Elect A member of ASM since 1986 and European Council chair up to 2000, Andrew Nicoll was elected an ASM Fellow in 1995 and served as an ASM Trustee from 2000-03. As Vice President of ASM, he will assume the title of ASM President at the 2004 Annual Meeting in October. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] Nicoll obtained an honors degree in metallurgy and materials technology from the University of Surrey (UK) in 1971.
