The Harvey Flower Titanium Prize, established by the Titanium Information Group (TIG) and co-sponsored by the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining, is dedicated to the memory of Professor Harvey Flower of Imperial College, London, whose outstanding contributions to the science and technology of titanium have led to a clearer and fuller understanding of the metal and its alloys.
