An iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum stainless steel that has been frequently applied in the chemical process industry has been found to be an ideal material for tanker trucks carrying hazardous waste liquids, reports Thyssen Krupp VDM, Germany. Nicrofer 3127 hMo--alloy 31 opens up new possibilities for the transportation and storage of hazardous substances.
