A state-of-the-art flashlight said to be powered by a magnetic charging system rather than batteries is powered by zinc-plated, rare-earth ceramic magnets that are bonded in both ends of a polycarbonate housing with Araldite 2015 structural epoxy adhesive from Huntsman Advanced Materials, Salt Lake City, Utah.
