Nanocrystalline nickel-iron makes armor tough and light.(Metals)

Nanocrystalline nickel-iron armor plating that is said to be twice as tough as the required specifications for military vehicles has reportedly been developed by Integran Technologies, Toronto, Canada. Nanocrystalline nickel is reportedly four times stronger than conventional nickel, while retaining all of nickel's other attributes.
