Strong steel wire reinforces blast-resistant structures.(METALS)

High-tensile-strength steel reinforcement products have been successfully implemented as reinforcements in structures for blast-resistance and blast-mitigation retrofits, reports Hardwire LLC, Pocomoke City, Md. The family of reinforcements is made from ultra-high strength twisted steel wire cords that are 11 times stronger than a typical steel plate.
