The back of the newest motorhome vehicle from Hymer AG, Germany, is made from a lightweight strong sandwich panel manufactured by the polyurethane spray system Baypreg, from Bayer MaterialScience AG, Germany. The part measures 200 by 50 cm (78 by 20 in.) and weighs 11 kg (25 lb). Despite its light weight, its impact and torsional resistance are better than similar products made of epoxy resins.
