Microneedle arrays made of organic modified ceramic.(OBSERVATIONS)
Advanced Materials & Processes, April, 2005
Three-dimensional microneedle arrays for drug delivery have been constructed of an ORganic MOdified CERamic called Ormocer by the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. In addition, Ormocer tissue engineering scaffolds with unique geometries have been designed. These cell-seeded scaffolds could potentially be stacked like building blocks to provide layer-by-layer growth of engineered tissues.
