Magnetic powder metallurgy stainless designed for MIM.(METALS)
Advanced Materials & Processes, May, 2005
An experimental powder metallurgy magnetic stainless steel material with a particle size of 25 nanometers has been announced by QinetiQ Nanomaterials Limited, Arlington, Va. Called Tesimorph ES-25, the particles are many times smaller than anything currently available. The material is particularly applicable to processes such as metal injection molding, in which the fine powders produce smoother flows, and therefore finer component detail can be achieved.
