Tungsten/polymer composite is stronger, heavier than lead.(POLYMERS/CERAMICS)

Thermoplastic polymer-tungsten materials called Heavy Metalpolymer composites with characteristics that preserve the performance attributes of lead, while avoiding its toxicity, have been reported by the International Tungsten Industry Association, London, England. Based on nylon or polyamine, the composite has a density equal to that of lead while providing greater yield strength.
