This ferrous output shaft hub is the image that should have appeared with this caption in the "P/M Industry Trends" article in the March AM & P. The shaft hub operates in a Ford truck transmission, and is made by Chicago Powdered Metal Products Co., Schiller Park, Ill. It won an award of distinction in the ferrous category in the 2004 MPIF International Design Competition.
