Ranald M. (Don) Garrison, 98, a past chairman of the Houston Chapter's predecessor, the Texas Chapter, from 1939-40, and an ASM Life Member, died on Jan. 20. He joined ASM in 1934 and was a charter member of the Texas Chapter, chartered in 1934. A graduate of Rice Institute with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1927, Garrison later graduated from Cornell University with a degree in mechanical engineering.
