The Airbus A380--the world's largest commercial aircraft--lifted off for its maiden flight out of Toulouse, France on April 27, bringing with it numerous Alcoa products such as advanced aerospace aluminum, superalloys, and fastening systems. Airbus spent $6.9 billion with U.S. suppliers last year, supporting more than 140,000 U.S.
