Stiffened carbon/epoxy panels made via the VARTM process.(FORMING/PROCESSING)

Technologies for improving a non-autoclave composite manufacturing process called vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM) are reportedly being studied at the University of Missouri at Rolla, and the Boeing Co., Chicago, Ill.
