A fuel supply module developed for Mercury Marine's Verado four-stroke outboard engines is made of a rugged two-piece housing injection molded from DuPont Zytel HTN high-performance polyamide, according to DuPont Engineering Polymers, Wilmington, Del. The material protects and provides structural support for its internal components and serves as a fuel reservoir.
