A computed radiography system has been developed to reduce the cost of inspecting knee implants by GE Inspection Technologies, Huerth, Germany. The system is helping Stryker Orthopedics to achieve considerable cost savings in the inspection of precision manufactured components for prosthetic joints at its factory in Limerick, Ireland.
