BASF AG, Ludwigshafen, Germany, recently added five new products to its line of Neopolen P expanded polypropylene (EPP) foams. Among them are foams in various colors and "very smooth, ultralight, and special low-cost versions." [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] The foams are said to combine a high capacity for energy absorption with a very low density, high resilience, and isotropic deformation performance.
