Waterproof bonding process developed for PEM fuel cells.(PROCESS TECHNOLOGY)

A waterproof bonding process for the assembly of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells has been announced by Kubota Research Associates Inc., Hockessin, Del., in collaboration with Ion Power Inc., New Castle, Del. Based on the P-Wave Pseudo Process Technology, this advance makes it possible to bond the membrane directly to metals and other materials such as graphite and polymers.
