Fatigue system tests peripheral artery stents.(MPMD)

A programmable instrument for simulating the complex loading that stents undergo in the peripheral arteries has reportedly been developed by Bose Corp., Eden Prairie, Minn. Called the MAPS (Multi-Axis Peripheral Stent) test instrument, it is capable of simulating the multiple axes of displacements seen in vivo.
