Japan develops technology to mass-produce carbon nanotubes.(METALS/POLYMERS/CERAMICS)

Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, known as AIST, has developed a method to mass produce single-walled carbon nanotubes, raising output efficiency by a factor of 100. Researchers succeeded in raising the output by improving a conventional synthesis method called direct injection pyrolytic synthesis.
