ASM established the Engineering Materials Achievement Award (EMAA) in 1969 to recognize outstanding achievements in materials or materials systems relating to the application of knowledge of materials to an engineering structure or to the design and manufacture of a product. Companies are encouraged to submit one or more nominations for the 2008 EMAA.
